Can the idea of good be re-branded?

Zach Frechette, Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of GOOD Magazine, believes that you can. That we can reach a point where people think it’s cool to be good. That good can be a mainstream thing. That we can care about the world and the people in it.

  1. Surely it’s about reaching a point where more people think it’s cool to be good? I believe there are a lot of us out there who already think it is! So it’s more about creating an ethos in society that doing good is cool. Or perhaps a more pertinent issue is reaching a point where more people are able to be good?

  2. I agree with Alana. I believe there are a lot of people that think its cool to be good, but we need many more to think that way. However, most people in general are very skeptical when you are kind/good to them. They often think you must have a hidden agenda and expect you to get something in return for your kindness. If you show pure kindness towards someone, your return is the heartfelt contentness that you feel for having done it. No expectations are required from the person that you are being good to.
